Abstract: THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF JUSTICE'S MANDATE INCLUDES HELPING STATE AND LOCAL JURISDICTIONS PLAN AND DEVELOP CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROGRAMS THROUGH THE IDENTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF "MODEL" PROJECTS. THIS SURVEY HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO ESTABLISH THE EXTENT TO WHICH FOUR RECENT NIJ PUBLICATIONS HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN MEETING THIS GOAL.
