Abstract: P.L. 95-627 MANDATES AN EVALUATION OF COSTS, MEAL QUALITY, AND BARRIER TO PARTICIPATION IN THE CHILD CARE FOOD PROGRAM. WAVE II DATA COLLECTION, PLANNED FOR JANUARY-APRIL 1981, WILL PROVIDE VALIDATION OF THE WAVE I COST MODEL AND MEASURES OF PARTICIPATION AND ADMINISTRA TIVE PRACTICES UNDER REGULATIONS REVISED BY P.L. 95-627, WHICH BECAME EFFECTIVE MAY 1, 1980--THEREBY PROVIDING THE BASIS FOR ADJUSTMENTS TO REIMBURSEMENT LEVELS, IF APPROPRIATE
