This request for clearance is approved for use through December 1983. The OMB inventory, and ICB burden change calaulations, will show that the 6,250 hours of reduced burden results from a change in use as reported by the Department on the SF 83. If this reduction results from action taken by the Department to allow more local unions to use the short form reports, the Department should file a correction notice with OMB so that the amount of the reduction can be credited to the Department's action and provide 6,250 hours for the Department to use for other information collection activities within the ICB allowance
