Abstract: TO COMPLY WITH DATA COLLECTION ACTIVITIES AUTHORIZED BY SECTIONS 301/4/6/7/8 OF THE CLEAN WATER ACT, EPA ANNUALLY SURVEYS SELECTED PRIMARY INDUSTRIES. BY MARCH 1981, WE WILL HAVE SURVEYED 14 PERCENT OF THE MAJOR SOURCES OF INDUSTRIAL WATER POLLUTION. DATA ALSO SUPPORT EFFLUENT GUIDELINES.
