Abstract: COLLECTION OF BIOLOGICAL, ENVIRONMENTAL, AND FISHING EFFORT ON ATLANTIC BLUEFIN TUNA (ABT) NECESSARY FOR THE PRESERVATION AND MANAGEMENT OF THE SPECIES. THE CONTINUATION OF THIS STUDY IS NECESSITATED BY THE LONG LIFE-SPAN OF THIS IMPORTANT RECREATION/ COMMERCIAL RESOURCE OF NMFS NECESSARY TO REPORT ANNUALLY TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION FOR THE CONSERVATION OF ATLANTIC TUNAS.
