Abstract: UNDER SECTION 5 OF THE RAILROAD UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE ACT, IF AN INDIVIDUAL AWARDED SICKNESS BENEFITS IS INCAPABLE OF SIGNING DOCUMENTS AND TRANSACTING BUSINESS, PAYMENTS SHALL BE MADE ON HIS BEHALF TO A QUALIFIED INDIVIDUAL. THE APPLICATION WILL OBTAIN INFORMATION NEEDED FOR THE BOARD TO SELECT THE INDIVIDUAL WHO WILL SERVE IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE EMPLYEE.
