Abstract: THE RAILROAD RETIREMENT TAX ACT REQUIRES INDIVIDUALS TO PAY BOTH THE EMPLOYER AND THE EMPLOYEE TAX AMOUNTS ON COMPENSATION EARNED AS AN EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVE. THE EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVE'S ANNUAL REPORT OF TAXABLE COMPENSATION, PRESCRIBED IN 20 CFR 250.6, WILL BE USED FOR UPDATING THE EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVE'S SERVICE AND COMPENSATION RECORD.
