Abstract: TO IMPLEMENT 36 C.F.R 223 AMENDED 12/5/80 AND EFFECTIVE ON 2/3/81 REGARDING THE EXPORT OF TIMBER FROM NATIONAL FOREST SYSTEM LANDS AND THE USE OF SUCH TIMBER IN SUBSTITUTION FOR PRIVATE TIMBER WHICH IS EXPORTED BY THE PURCHASER. THIS WILL INVOLVE REVISING AND CLARIFYING DIRECTION SPECIFIED BY 36 C.F.R. PART 223.
