Abstract: BLM AUTHORITY OVER PUBLIC LANDS (REV. STAT 2455 43 U.S.C. 1171) AUTHORIZES THE SALE OF SUCH LANDS AS ARE FOUND TO BE SUITABLE FOR TRANSFER OUT OF PUBLIC OWNERSHIP. THIS APPLICATION IS DESIGNED TO IDENTIFY THE LANDS WHICH ARE SOUGHT BY THE APPLICANT AS WELL AS TO QUALIFY HIM/HER TO SEE WHETHER HE/SHE IS ELIGIBLE TO FILE THE APPLICATION.
