Abstract: TO OBTAIN A BENEFIT AS A SPOUSE OF AN EMPLOYEE ANNUITANT UNDER THE THE RAILROAD RETIREMENT ACT THE, THE SPOUSE'S APPLICATION MUST BE SUPPORTED BY THE EMPLOYEE ANNUITANT'S CERTIFYING THAT THE LIVING WITH OR SUPPORT REQUIREMENTS ARE MET AND SUBMITTING INFORMATION OF ANY PREVIOUS MARRIAGES. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED FOR DETERMINING WHETHER THE APPLICANT MEETS THE MARRIAGE REQUIREMENT FOR A SPOUSE ANNUITY
