Abstract: THE U.S. METRIC BOARD IS DEVELOPING A PLAN FOR MEETING THE REQUIREMENT SPECIFIED IN SECTIONS 6(4), 6(5) AND 6(6) OF THE METRIC CONVERSION ACT OF 1975 (15 USC 205). TO ASSIST THE BOARD IN THIS WORK, THE BOARD WILL CONDUCT A BRIEF SURVEY OF STANDARDS DEVELOPING/WRITING ORGANIZATIONS.
