Abstract: THE STUDY EXAMINES THE EFFECT OF SCHOOL TRANSITION AND THE SIMULTANEOU ENTRY INTO EARLY ADOLESCENCE ON CHILDREN'S ADJUSTMENT AND ADAPTATION IN SCHOOL, IN RELATION TO THEIR LIVES OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL. IT DOES SO FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE CHILDREN THEMSELVES, THEIR TEACHERS AND PEERS, AND THEIR PARENTS.
