Abstract: CONSISTENT WITH REQUIREMENTS OF OMB CIRCULAR A-102 AND SECTIONS 502 (E)(4) AND 712 OF P.L. 95-87, THIS INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO ASSIST THE STATES IN MEETING THE INCREASED COSTS OF ADMINISTERING THE INITIAL PERFORMANCE STANDARDS AND TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO BUILD STRONG RECLAMATION AND ENFORCEMENT PROGRAMS. THE INFORMATION IS USED BY THE DIRECTOR AND REGIONAL DIRECTORS OF OSM IN REVIEWING AND APPOVING GRANT APPLICATIONS.
