TAX EXEMPT BLACK LUNG BENEFIT TRUSTS NORMALLY HAVING MORE THAN $10,000 IN GROSS RECEIPTS ANNUALLY ARE REQUIRED BY IRC SECTION 6033 TO FILE AN INFORMATION RETURN GIVING INFORMATION RELATING TO THEIR INCOME, EXPENSES, OFFICERS AND CONTRIBUTORS, AND GENERAL OPERATIONS. THE SERVICE USES THIS INFORMATION TO MONITOR THESE TRUSTS AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE OPERATING WITHIN THE LAW. CERTAIN PARTS OF THIS RETURN MAY BE OPEN FOR PUBLIC INSPECTION.
