Abstract: IRC SECTIONS 38, 46, AND 48 ALLOW A CREDIT (AGAINST INCOME TAX PAID) FOR PURCHASES OF CERTAIN ASSETS. FORM 346B PROVIDES FOR THE COMPUTATION OF THE INVESTMENT CREDIT AND CLAIMING OF THE REGULAR INVESTMENT CREDIT AND BUSINESS ENERGY INVESTMENT CREDIT FROM SCHEDULE B (FORM 3468). THE INFORMATION COLLECTED IS USED TO DETERMINE THE VALIDITY OF THE CLAIM.
