Abstract: USED BY INDIVIDUAL TAXPAYERS TO CLAIM A CREDIT AGAINST THEIR TAX FOR QUALIFIED ENERGY SAVING PROPERTY. IRC SECTION 44C ALLOWS THE CREDIT FOR QUALIFIED ENERGY CONSERVATION EXPENDITURES, PLUS QUALIFIED RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCE EXPENDITURES. THE INFORMATION COLLECTED IS USED TO DETERMINE THE VALIDITY OF THE CLAIMED CREDIT.
