Abstract: APPLICATIONS UNDER PART C OF THE ACT ARE USED TO AWARD COMPETITIVE GRANTS AND IMPROVE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES BELOW THE COLLEGE LEVEL FOR INDIAN ADULTS. AUTHORIZED GRANT ACTIVITIES ARE: PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, DEVELOP PLANNING, PILOT AND DEMONSTRATION PROJECTS, SURVEYS TO DETERMINE THE EXTENT OF EDUCATION NEED, RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS, AND DISSEMINATION AND EVALUATION PROJECTS.
