Abstract: THIS FORM IS USED WITH OTHER FORMS TO DEVELOP MOTOR CARRIER COST SCALES. FORM ACC-40 PROVIDES ANNUALY INFORMATION FOR USE IN SEPARATING PIDDLE OPERATIONS BETWEEN THE PICKUP AND DELIVERY PORTION AND THE LINE-HAND PORTION OF THE TRIPS. IT IS USED TO DETERMINE HOW THE EXPENSES WERE CHANGED AND IF THEY WERE INCORRECTLY CHARGED. IT PROVIDES A BASIS FOR CORRECTING THIS BEFORE COMPUTING COSTS.
