Abstract: FORM ACV-159 AND THE ACCOMPANYING RECORD-KEEPING PROCEDURES ARE THE MEANS BY WHICH THE COMMISSION MAINTAINS SERVICE LIFE DATA FOR USE IN DETERMINING SERVICE LIFE OF PROPERTY FOR COMPUTATION OF DEPRECIATION RATES BY THE STRIGHT-LINE METHOD. DATA WILL ALSO BE USED FOR CAR-HIRE COMPENSATION AND DETERMINAITON OF ADEQUATE REVENUE LEVELS.
