Abstract: THIS FORM IS USED BY THE CARRIERS TO NOTIFY THE COMMISSION OF OF THE ISSUIANCE OF SHORT TERM NOTES. THE INFORMATION REQUESTED BY THE COMMISSION IS USED TO DETERMINE WHETHER ISSUIANCE OF SUCH NOTES IS WITHIN THE LIMIT AUTHORIZED BY THE ACT, & IS PART OF THE INFORCEMENT PROCEDURE NEEDED TO ASSCERTAIN THAT CARRIER SECURITIES ARE ISSUED FOR LAWFUL OBJECTS WITHIN CARRIER'S CORPORATE PURPOSES, AND ARE COMPATIBLE & CONSISTENT WITH THE PUBLIC INTEREST.
