Abstract: UNDER THE RAILROAD UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE ACT, A RAILROAD EMPLOYEE IS DISQUALIFIED FOR UNEMPLOYMENT AND SICKNESS BENEFITS FOR THE PERIOD OF TIME THE EMPLOYEE WOULD HAVE WORKED TO EARN THE AMOUNT OF A SEPARATION ALLOWANCE. THE NOTICE WILL OBTAIN THE INFORMATION NEEDED FOR DETERMINING THE DISQUALIFICATION PERIOD.
