Abstract: REPORT COLLECTS DEPOSITS DATA FROM DEPOSITORY INSTITUTIONS THAT HAVE TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS OR NONPERSONAL TIME DEPOSITS. THIS REPORT IS USED TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL RESERVE REGULATION D ON RESERVE REQUIREMENTS AS AUTHORIZED BY THE MONETARY CONTROL ACT OF ACT OF 1980 AND TO PROVIDE INFORMATION FOR MONETARY POLICY PURPOSES. THESE DATA ARE USED TO CALCULATE RESERVE REQUIREMENTS AND TO ESTIMATE MONETARY AGGREGATES.
