Abstract: THE EIA-20, A MANDATORY TELEPHONE SURVEY, WILL BE USED ON A STANDBY BASIS TO ASSESS THE ADEQUACY OF THE COAL SUPPLIES OF COAL-BURNING ELECTRIC UTILITIES DURING THE FORECASTED COAL MINERS' STRIKE. THE DAT WILL ALSO BE USED BY ERA AS A STATISTICAL BACKUP FOR USE IN CURTAILMEN PLANNING IN CASES OF SHORTAGES IN COAL SUPPLIES. DATA IS ALSO PROVIDE ON COAL STOCKS, RECEIPTS, CONSUMPTION, PRICE AND GENERATION.
