Abstract: UNDER VARIOUS COLOR-OF-TITLE ACT (ACT OF DEC. 22, 1928; 45 STAT. 1069, AS AMENDED JULY 28, 1954; 67 STAT. 227; 43 U.S.C. 1068, 1068A) BLM HAS THE AUTHORITY TO TRANSFER SPECIFIC TRACTS OF PUBLIC LAND TO INDIVIDUALS THAT CAN PRESENT A LEGITIMATE COLOR-OF-TITLE CLAIM OF THE LAND.
