THESE REGULATIONS REQUIRE EMPLOYERS TO
ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN ACCURATE RECORDS OF EMPLOYEE EXPOSURE
MEASUREMENTS AND AUDIOGRAMS TAKEN OR OBTAINED PURSUANT TO THE
PROVISIONS OF THE STANDARD FOR OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE TO NOISE (29
CFR 1910.95). THESE RECORDS ARE USEFUL TO THE EMPLOYER, EMPLOYEE,
PHYSICIAN AND THE GOVERNMENT IN DETERMINING WHETHE AN EMPLOYEE HAS
SUFFERED IMPAIRMENT AS A RESULT OF HIS/HER OCCUPATIONA EXPOSURE TO
NOISE.

with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
