Abstract: THIS IS A FIVE-YEAR, STATE-CONDUCTED INVENTORY OF UNDERGROUND INJECTION WELLS MANDATED BY THE SAFE DRINKING WATER ACT. EPA WILL USE THE INFORMATION TO MEASURE THE IMPACT OF INJECTION PRACTICES ON UNDERGROUND SOURCES OF DRINKING WATER AND TO EVALUATE THE COST-EFFECTIVENESS OF REGULATION.
