Abstract: FAA ACT OF 1958, SECTION 601 (49 USC 1421) AUTHORIZES ISSUANCE OF MINIMUM STANDARDS GOVERNING THE DESIGN, MATERIALS, WORKMANSHIP, AND CONSTRUCTION OF AIRCRAFT, AIRCRAFT ENGINES, PROPELLERS, AND PARTS 14 CFR 21 PRESCRIBES CERTIFICATION PROCEDURES FOR THESE PRODUCTS AND PARTS.
