Abstract: FEDERAL AVIATION ACT OF 1958, SECTION 604 (49 USC 1424) AUTHORIZES ISSUANCE OF AIR CARRIER OPERATING CERTIFICATES. OPERATIONS SPECIFICATIONS INFORMATION COLLECTED IS USED TO DETERMINE APPLICANTS ELIGIBILITY. THE INFORMATION ALSO BECOMES PART OF THE AIR CARRIER OPERATING CERTIFICATE.
