Abstract: THE DATA REQUIRED TO SATISFY THE STATUTORY OBLIGATION OF THE RIVER AND HARBAR ACT JUL 18, 1918, TRANSPORTATION ACT FEB. 28, 1920, AND THE MERCHANT MARINE ACT JUNE 5, 1920. THE DATA ARE COMPILED INTO THE PORT SERIES REPORTS WHICH ARE USED IN PLANNING FUNCTIONS. THE PORT SERIES REPORTS ARE THE SOURCE OF GENERAL PORT INFORMATION AND STATISTICS AND THEREFORE SERVE AS PORT DIRECTORIES.
