Abstract: THE INVENTORY, WHICH IS FUNDED EQUALLY BY NIMH AND AHA, WILL COLLECT INFORMATION ON SEPARATE PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES IN NON-FEDERAL GENERAL AN V.A. HOSPITALS. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED TO PROVIDE NATIONAL ESTIMATES ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THESE FACILITIES AND TO SERVE AS A SAMPLING FRAME FOR FUTURE SAMPLE SURVEYS.
