Abstract: THE AUTHORIZATION LETTER ADVISES FILERS THAT THEY MAY FILE INFORMATION RETURNS ON MAGNETIC MEDIA AND ASSIGNS A UNIQUE TRANSMITTER NUMBER TO THE FILER. THE LETTER ALSO ASKS FILERS TO SEND IRS A TEST TAPE, DISK, OR DISKETTE BEFORE SUBMITTING THE ORIGINAL FILE.
