Abstract: THE UNIFIED WORK PROGRAM (UPWP) DESCRIBES ALL TRANSPORTATION AND TRANSPORTATION RELATED PLANNING ACTIVITIES THAT WILL BE ANTICIPATED IN AN URBANIZED AREA AND STATE FOR A 1 OR 2 YEAR PERIOD. IT DOCUMENTS AL WORK TO BE PERFORMED USING UMTA SECTION 8 FUNDS AND PROVIDES A TASK BUDGET. THIS INFORMATION IS UTILIZED BY UMTA REGIONAL OFFICES FOR GRANT APPROVAL PURPOSES.
