Abstract: AID AND BIFAD REQUIRE MORE DATA ON FACTORS WHICH MAKE SPECIFIC AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT ASSIGNMENTS OVERSEAS MORE OR LESS ATTRACTIVE. THE PROPOSED SURVEY IS DESIGNED TO OBTAIN THAT DATA AND TO ASSESS EXISTING AND NECESSARY INCENTIVES--FINANCIAL AND NON-FINANCIAL--NEEDED TO INDUCE THE REQUISITE NUMBERS AND QUALITY OF FACULTY FROM ELIGIBLE UNIVERSITIES TO RESPOND TO AID'S AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS OVERSEAS.
