Abstract: INTERNAL REVENUE CODE SECTION 117 ALLOWS TAXPAYERS TO EXLUDE CERTAIN SCHOLARSHIPS/FELLOWSHIPS FROM TAXABLE INCOME. THE INFORMATION OBTAINE FROM THIS QUESTIONNAIRE WILL BE USED WHEN AUDITING THE INDIVIDUAL INCO TAX RETURNS OF SCHOLARSHIP/FELLOWSHIP RECIPIENTS TO ASSURE PROPER APPLICATION OF IRC 117.
