Abstract: 33 USC 1321(J)(1)(C) -- EACH BULK OIL FACILITY THAT INTENDS TO TRANSFE OIL MUST NOTIFY THE COAST GUARD OF THE INTENTION. THE COAST GUARD MAY THEN CONDUCT AN EXAMINATION TO INSURE COMPLIANCE WITH THE POLLUTION PREVENTION REGULATIONS.
