Abstract: THE CIVIL SERVICE RETIREMENT LAW REQUIRES THAT A SURVIVOR ANNUITY TO WIDOW OR WIDOWER TERMINATE ON THE LAST DAY OF THE MONTH BEFORE REMARRIAGE OCCURS BEFORE AGE 60. THIS FORM IS SENT TO WIDOWS AND WIDOWERS UNDER AGE 60 WHO ARE RECEIVING SURVIVOR ANNUITANTS IN ORDER TO POLICE THIS PROVISION OF THE LAW.
