Abstract: THE STUDY IS DESIGNED TO MEASURE THE EFFECT OF ALTERNATIVE HEALTH INSURANCE PLANS ON THE DEMAND FOR AND THE QUALITY OF MEDICAL CARE, AND HEALTH STATUS. THE RESULTS WILL PROVIDE AN IMPORTANT DATA BASE FOR ANALYTIC PLANNING OF THE IMPACT OF PRO-COMPETITION, CONSUMER CHOIC LEGISLATION AND WILL ALSO AID ASSESSMENT OF ALTERNATIVE HEALTH MANPOWE POLICIES.
