Abstract: SECTIONS 523(C) AND 705 OF P.L. 95-87 AUTHORIZES GRANTS TO STATES FOR CERTAIN SPECIFIED PURPOSES. THIS INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO DETERMINE THE ASSISTANCE NEEDED BY STATES IN MEETING THE COST OF DEVELOPING, ADMINISTERING, AND ENFORCING STATE REGULATORY PROGRAMS CONSISTENT WITH P.L. 95-87. THE INFORMATION IS USED BY THE DIRECTOR AND REGIONAL DIRECTORS IN ADMINISTERING, REVIEWING, AND APPROVING THE STATE GRANT PROGRAM FOR THESE ACTIVITIES.
