Abstract: THE ATTACHED APPLICATION FORM MUST BE COMPLETED BY ALL INSTITUTIONS APPLYING FOR GRANTS UNDER THE SPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAM, TITLE III OF THE HIGHER EDUCATION ACT OF 1965, AS AMENDED BY PUBLIC LAW 96-374. THE APPLICATION WILL ENABLE THE SECRETARY TO EVALUATE THE NEEDS OF THE APPLICANTS TO DETERMINE WHICH APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE FUNDED AND THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF ANY GRANT THAY MAY BE AWARDED.
