Abstract: PURSUANT TO SECTION 332 OF THE TARIFF ACT OF 1930, THE U.S.I.T.C. IS REQUIRED TO PERIODICALLY PROVIDE CURRENT STATISTICAL INFORMATION ON THE BOLTS, NUTS AND LARGE SCREWS INDUSTRY TO THE PRESIDENT. THIS DATA IS USED TO MONITOR THE IMPACT OF IMPORTS ON THE INDUSTRY AND/ OR TO ASSESS THE IMPACT OF TARIFF RELIEF PREVIOUSLY GRANTED TO PRODUCERS OF SELECTED BOLTS, NUTS AND SCREWS.
