Abstract: THIS FORM IS USED WITH OTHER FORMS TO DEVELOP MOTOR CARRIER COST SCALES. THE PURPOSE OF THIS FORM IS TO DETERMINE THE PROPORTIONS OF THE SHIPMENT HANDLED OVER THE PLATFORMS BY WEIGHT BRACKET SEPARATELY FOR SHIPMENTS CLASSIFIED 5 DIFFERENT WAYS. THE TOTAL HUNDRED-WEIGHT COMPUTED IS DIVIDED INTO THE TOTAL PLATFORM EXPENSE TO DETERMINE THE SYSTEM AVERAGE COST FOR HANDLING A SHIPMENT OVER THE PLATFORM.
