Abstract: THE SURVEY IS THE ONLY SOURCE OF NATIONAL ENROLLMENT AND STUDENT SUPPO STATISTICS IN GRADUATE SCIENCE/ENGINEERING PROGRAMS. DATA ARE USED BY STATE EDUCATION BOARDS, EDUCATIONAL ASSOCIATIONS, AND INDIVIDUAL INSTITUTIONS, IN MONITORING S/E EDUCATIONAL PROGRESS AND PLANNING TO MEET FUTURE S/E RESOURCE NEEDS.
