Abstract: SUPPLEMENTAL DESK REVIEW FORMS ARE USED TO OBTAIN PERTINENT INFORMATION FROM PROVIDERS. DESK REVIEWS ARE PERFORMED ON ALL COST REPORTS. THIS ENABLES INTERMEDIARIES TO CUT DOWN ON FULL SCALE FIELD AUDITS, AND TO PINPOINT AREAS TO BE EXAMINED DURING AUDITS.
