Abstract: REVISIONS TO 10 CFR PART 516.51 AND .52 REQUIRE THAT RETAIL NATURAL GA DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES COVERED BY S.402 OF THE PIFUA OF 1978 NOTIFY CUSTOMERS OF CERTAIN DATA CONCERNING THE USE OF NATURAL GAS OUTDOOR LIGHTS AND REPORT NOTIFICATION METHODS TO STATE REGULATORY AUTHORITIES REPORTING WILL BEGIN MARCH 1982. THE PURPOSE IS TO DISCOURAGE USE OF NATURAL GAS FOR OUTDOOR LIGHTING.
