Abstract: THE RESOURCE CONSERVATION AND RECOVERY ACT REQUIRES ALL PERSONS WITH HAZARDOUS WASTE ACTIVITIES TO NOTIFY EPA. EPA USES THE INFORMATION TO MAINTAIN AN INVENTORY OF ALL HAZARDOUS WASTE ACTIVITIES THROUGHOUT THE NATION. THE NOTIFICATION FORM IS ALSO USED FOR ISSUING A UNIQUE EPA IDENTIFICATION NUMBER TO EACH ACTIVITY.
