Abstract: THE ACT OF APRIL 12, 1926 (77 STAT. 272), AS AMENDED BY PART IV OF THE FOREIGN ASSISTANCE ACT OF OCTOBER 8, 1968 (PL 90-554, 82 STAT. 960) LIMITS THE AMOUNT OF UNPROCESSED TIMBERS WHICH MAY BE SOLD FOR EXPORT FROM FEDERAL LANDS LOCATED WEST OF THE 100TH MERIDIAN. IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE ABOVE LAW, EACH TIMBER SALE CONTRAC, IN WHICH PURCHASERS SELL UNRESTRICTED, UNPROCESSED TIMBER FOR EXPORT PURPOSES, REQUIRES EACH PARTY RECEIVING SUCH TIMBER TO EXECUTE TH
