THE INFORMATION IS USED BY THE REGULATORY AUTHORITY TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE APPLICANT CAN COMPLY WITH THE PERFORMANCE STANDARDS OF THE REGULATIONS AND WHETHER RECLAMATION OF THESE AREAS ARE FEASIBLE.
