Abstract: THE TRADING WITH INDIANS ON INDIAN RESERVATIONS STATUTE IS NECESSARY BECAUSE OF THE ISOLATION OF INDIAN COMMUNITIES. IT IS NECESSARY TO GATHER INFORMATION ON PERSONS WHO CONDUCT BUSINESS ON RESERVATIONS BECAUSE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF HAVING FRAUD/OVERPRICING PERPRETRATED ON INDIANS. STATE CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS DO NOT APPLY ON INDIAN RESEVATIONS.
