Abstract: THIS INFORMATION ON SOURCE COMPLIANCE AND ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS TAKEN BY THE STATES IS NEEDED TO KEEP TRACK OF THE COMPLIANCE STATUS OF ALL MAJ SOURCES AND MAJOR STATE ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES. IT IS USED TO ASSESS PROGRESS IN MEETING AIR QUALITY STANDARDS AND TO ASSURE CONTINUED ATTAINMENT OF THE STANDARDS. THIS INFORMATION IS STORED AND UTILIZED THROUGH THE COMPLIANCE DATA SYSTEM. FIVE STATES USE THE COMPLIANCE DATA SYSTEM AS THEIR ONLY SOURCE OF DATA MANAGEMENT.
