Abstract: THIS FOLLOW-UP SURVEY IS PART OF DOT'S EFFORT TO ASSESS THE INITIAL IMPACTS OF THE MOTOR CARRIER ACT OF 1980. THE RESULTS WILL BE USED IN DOT TESTIMONY AT CONGRESSIONAL OVERSIGHT HEARINGS ON THE ACT TO PROVID INFORMATION ON CHANGES IN THE QUALITY OF SERVICE PROVIDED BY FOR-HIRE MOTOR CARRIERS.
